The Dark Wizard

I can’t get over this insane HBO doc on climber/base jumper Dean Potter. Having grown up in a family of athletes and adrenaline junkies I have a particular penchant for this type of extreme sports content. Part of the strange tragedy of this doc is watching the halcyon days of climbing as counterculture vanish. Disturbing, fascinating, man v. himself, man v. world.
